Mandolin by Luigi Embergher dated 1926, model 5 bis.That instrument bearing the number 1140  made of 34 fluted maple ribs for the body.Mint condition.Only a few works ( adjustements ) to give it perfectly playable.Photos very soon.

Mandolin by Egildo Emanuelle, Luigi Embergher copy.Made in 1932 bearing the number 466.Very similar with a Luigi Embergher 5 BIS mandolin.We are sure now that Egildo Emanuelle worked in Luigi embergher workshop. This instrument is in mint condition.sonority powerfull with many harmonics.Come to see it and prove.

[Translate to English:] Mandoline fin 18ème début 19ème vraisemblablement de la famille Vinaccia dont elle porte l'étiquette datée 1775.cette étiquette semble apocryphe.Le travail quant à lui est exceptionnel,les inscrustations de nacre,d'un  dessin mêlant les entrelacs du classique et les traits géométriques enchevêtrés rappelant l'antiquité est d'une modernité à couper le souffle.Du jamais vu,tant le travail de la nacre a dû nécessiter des heures innombrables.les côtes creuses du dos de cet instrument sont toutes séparées par un filet d'ivoire,La découpe de la tête artistiquement pensée.Les deux côtés proches de la table sont finement sculptés et sont la projection sur le bois du dessin de la nacre.Tous ces éléments et bien d'autres font de cette mandoline un objet d'exception,voire unique.Elle est à restaurer et pour l'instant les photos seront envoyées sur demande jusquà ce que la restauration terminée elles soient installées sur le site.
